MPPA graduates have excellent placement in all sectors--government, nonprofit and for-profit--and at the local, national and international level. Since the program was founded in 2000, nearly 100% of the students actively looking for work in the field have found a position within three months of graduation.
Typical positions include policy or budget analysts at government agencies and private sector consulting firms, directors and program managers in nonprofit organizations, town managers, and program officers at international organizations. As Figure 1 below shows, 34% of CPPA alumni are employed by government, 17% are in the private sector, 14% work in education, 23% in not-for-profits, and 12% in international NGOs.
